Working together, we’ll get to the heart of your brand values before exploring a range of brand voice attributes, personas and possible brand voices. This will inform your core personality traits.
STEP TWO: Creating your tone of voice personality traits
Drawing on the discovery workshop, I’ll create five possible tone of voice pillars/personality traits for your brand. You can choose your favourite three.
STEP 3: Defining your personality traits
Once you’ve chosen your pillars, I’ll show you how to pack this personality into your writing.
STEP 4: Development of tone of voice + copy guidelines document
With your personality traits sorted, I’ll create a full copywriting tone of voice and style guide, including your choice of four live examples.

This means I can cover the human craft of copywriting – and help you make a call on AI writing (if that tweaks your twong).
For me, the best way to learn is through experience. So, we’ll focus on doing rather than listening. We’ll explore possibilities, put ideas to the test and discuss our findings. No death by Powerpoint here.

My copywriting mentoring is a chance to work one-to-one on whatever you need. I offer you accountability and advice, built on 20 years of experience in the marketing/ad industry.
During this time, I’ve worked at start ups, global agencies and for myself. I’ve trained, mentored and managed junior writers and headed up an agency creative department.
I admit, I’ve faced a fair few challenges in my time. Some lessons were tougher than others, but I’m still here doing the work.
